Cover in Aug/Sept Stampers' Sampler!

I was absolutely thrilled to see my Halloween project on the cover of the Halloween issue of The Stampers' Sampler! What a delight to also have a two page article and several other pieces published.  Thanks are in order to Suzanne Melvin of Oxford Impressions for her wonderful Halloween Party stamps and Gretchen of Mad Rat Rubber for her wonderful doll stamps, which make this art work possible!  Fun, fun, fun...!!!  I am ready to get started on projects for next Halloween!!!

My Halloween Work Will Be Published Next Month!

I happened to be at JoAnn's the other day, thumbing through the most recent issue of The Stamper's Sampler, when I noticed my cat girl bag in the "On the Horizon" section. My art was a teaser for the upcoming issue!

First Christmas Card of the Season

Just finished this Christmas card using an idea from my dear friend, Christel.  The tree is Stampin' Up's "O' Tannenbaum" and the rose toile background is Stampin' Up's Elements of Style.  The sentiment is a Michael's dollar bin find.  For ink I chose Real Red and Kiwi Kiss.  (I have a ton of Kiwi Kiss paper.)  Think I'll try some other color combos.

Christmas in the Air!

It's freezing here in Southern California, down to 34 tonight, and it sure is bringing in the holiday season.  Even though I love Thanksgiving, with all the colors, smells, and the general feeling of blessing and gratitude, I'm getting really excited about decorating for Christmas.  Here is my latest published work from the holiday issue of The Stamper's Sampler made exclusively with stamps from Oxford Impressions.  I used the St. Nicholas collection and the Bon Bon collection, which brings to mind the joy of special Christmas sweets.

Halloween Cards

Another card with stamps from Artistic Outpost.  The glitter made it difficult to photograph.  I really need to learn Photoshop!

           Happy Halloween,
                  Everyone!

Halloween stamps for this card from Artistic Outpost.  The French cherub background is an oldie; don't remember the company.
