Fourth of July with Character Constructions

Thank you for stopping by. I finally finished this doll after working on it in bits every evening for the last little while. Who knew that a cheap plastic trophy cup would turn into this??? The stamps are from Character Constructions Cirque and Bee Keeper's Tea collections.

What about you? Do you craft or decorate for Independence Day?

Your creation is absolutely gorgeous Laura! I LOVE it! I love creating and decorating for 4th of July! I wish I had a patriotic room to be quite honest!

This is so cool!! Did the trophy come with the black base, or is that something you made?

Hi Erica, The trophy was a cheap plastic one that I covered with white glue and vintage glass glitter. I found a stash of these trophies at a thrift shop for .50 each. It probably came from a party store, originally.

The trophy was originally gold on top and black on bottom.
